Gretel is a contemporary reconsideration of the classic fairy tale Hansel and Gretel as seen through the eyes of the latter. It is an emotional and psychological exploration of where Gretel is years later after having been discarded by her parents and forced to commit witchy murder in order to save her brother's life.
